(May 17, 2002)-Hello Marks, and welcome to another edition of Ring Rust. Today we will be looking at the matches as well as my predictions of this month's World Wrestling Entertainment Pay Per View, Judgment Day. This card to me seems like there will some good matches and there will be some bad matches. First the good matches: Angle vs. Edge, Guererro vs. RVD, Hogan vs. Undertaker. Now the bad ones: Big Show & Flair vs. Austin (Boring), Lesner & Heyman vs. The Hardy Boys (really Boring), Trish vs. Stacy (Puppies and legs are good but as a wrestling match goes Boring), Triple H vs. Jericho (Should be a good match but haven't we been there and done that). Hopefully I'm wrong about the PPV I really do hope more than just half of the matches on the card are good ones but we will see on Sunday. Enough whining about the card, its time to put my thoughts and mouth on the line. Its time for my ever so famous predictions…

Rumored Match
William Regal (c) vs. D-Lo Brown for the European Championship
Who will win? William Regal
Why? They will let this be a beginning to a feud between these two with D-Lo coming out on top at a PPV down the road
Who I would let win? William Regal
Why? Same reason I gave above.
Confirmed Matches
Kurt Angle vs. Edge in a Hair vs. Hair Match
Who will win? Edge
Why? This match features the last two King of the Ring winners. These men can and will put on a great match but in the end finally it will be Edge winning the big one. Plus do you really think Edge will cut that beautiful hair. And think, once Angle is bald he's now ready to start a feud Grandpa himself, Hulk Hogan. It will be a match to see who is the biggest chrome dome in the WWE.
Who I would let win? Edge
Why? Because he deserves it for his hard work and do you really think he'd cut that trademark hair. I think not.
Brock Lesner & Paul Heyman vs. The Hardy Boys
Who will win? Brock Lesner & Paul Heyman
Why? They want you to think finally the Hardy's will get their revenge, they want you to think Paul Heyman will take the fall, that's why Lesner and Heyman will win it's as simply as that.
Who I would let win? Brock Lesner & Paul Heyman
Why? Because everyone thinks Heyman is gonna take the fall, I'd trick and piss off everyone by not letting that happen.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Big Show & Ric Flair
Who will win? Big Show & Ric Flair
Why? This will setup a match between Austin and Flair down the line.
Who I would let win? Big Show & Ric Flair
Why? If you don't let them win here and now, what's the point of Flair's nWo? Plus I love the future match between Austin and Flair, as long as Flair keeps his shirt on.
Trish Stratus (c) vs. Stacy Keibler for the Women's Championship
Who will win? Trish Stratus
Why? Okay Stacy is hot, but she's not a wrestler
Who I would let win? Trish Stratus
Why? Because Stacy can't wrestle.
Billy & Chuck vs. Rikishi & Mystery Partner for the Tag Team Championship
Who will win? Rikishi & Mystery Partner
Why? Billy & Chuck are bound to drop the titles anytime now. Plus a Title change may freshen up the Tag Team Division.
Who I would let win? Billy & Chuck
Why? I love the headbands.
Triple H vs. Chris Jericho in a Hell in the Cell Match
Who will win? Triple H
Why? Because Triple H rarely loses PPV's and since he dropped the Title to Hogan last PPV he will win this one. Besides his girlfriend's dad owns the company, duh.
Who I would let win? Chris Jericho
Why? Simply put I love a heel Jericho and this win would give him some revenge for the Wrestlemania 18 loss.
Eddie Guererro (c) vs. Rob Van Dam for the Intercontinental Championship
Who will win? Eddie Guererro
Why? Because the Intercontinental Championship has changed hands at ever PPV this year. I see a longer Title reign for Guererro and maybe just maybe a Ladder Match between the two at King of the Ring next PPV.
Who I would let win? Eddie Guererro
Why? Because people love to hate this guy, and with the I.C. Title they will hate him even more.
Hollywood Hulk Hogan (c) vs. Undertaker
Who will win? Undertaker
Why? Because Hogan's momentum is slowly fading. Besides the WWE has already hinted at an Angle vs. Hogan rivalry. I think Angle will somehow screw Hogan out of the Title.
Who I would let win? Undertaker
Why? I would have the Deadman return to the old Undertaker gimmick with his old music, black hair, old costume, and I'd bring back Paul Bearer with that dreaded Urn. This would give this match a classic feel, hell I would even have Paul Bearer use the Urn on Hogan to help the Undertaker get the win. If they (WWE) are gonna give us old men wrestling then I want the "Classic" versions of both old men wrestling.
Well lets see how I do on my predictions this time around, it's gotta be better than the 5 out of 10 like I got last time. Well take care and I'll see ya next week when I take a look back at Judgment Day.
